Friday April 1, 2005 Robert Potts III, 47, won his first prize ever courtesy of
Auto Shopper’s Club. The few minutes it took to sign up as a free member to
ASC’s website earned Potts a 42” Plasma TV he plans to place in his living room
replacing his 26” TV that he will relocate to his bedroom.
ASC held the drawing at 4:00 on Friday and the winner was notified by email.
Potts had 24 hours to claim his prize and did not check his email before
retiring for the evening. Much to his surprise, Potts was very excited to learn
Saturday morning that his name had been drawn and had only a few hours
left to claim his TV. He responded to ASC’s email securing his prize.
Potts and his family moved from Maryland to California when he was six years
old. A graduate from USC, Potts received his degree in Architecture. Still a
Southern California resident, Potts is a Projects Manager for a Facilities
Management Company where he has been employed for six years.
ASC relies mainly on referrals by its customers to gain new business. A previous
customer had mentioned the service that was provided to him by ASC. Signing
onto the website Potts, an avid golfer, learned that becoming a member with ASC
also entitled him discounts to Roger Dunn Golf Shops as well as other
participating businesses.
Although Potts recently purchased a 2001 Mustang, after his previous vehicle was
caught in flash flood waters, he plans to use ASC’s service to purchase Lo-Jack
and after market wheels for his vehicle. ASC not only provides a new car
service but can provide its customer with a variety of services ranging from
aftermarket items to warranties.
